Serie Noirs et ombres, 2019

This series explores femininity, freedom and the intimate connection between man and nature, through compositions marked by striking contrasts of black and white, enhanced by touches of symbolic colors, such as blue or orange.

The pronounced contours create a strong graphic effect, highlighting the human form while playing with full and empty spaces to provoke reflection on the very essence of identity and connection to one's environment.

Female figures, often nude or in introspective postures, exude both strength and vulnerability, while birds in motion evoke elevation or inner journey.

“I draw female bodies as one maps inner paths. Between strength and fragility, between emptiness and form, a free presence emerges.” Guimond
